The scientific program will include, besides eight invited talks, contributed papers that will be presented in plenary oral or poster sessions.
Original and unpublished papers will be mainly focusing on, but

Prospective contributors are encouraged to submit papers and to attend BVAI 2007. Each paper will be reviewed by at least two reviewers. Accepted papers will be included in the proceedings volume, published by Springer-Verlag in the series Lecture Notes in Computer Science. Extended versions of selected contributions will be published, after peer reviewing, in two special issues: Brain Research and International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, respectively for paper dealing with "natural" and "artificial" aspects.
